In such a case, we recommend you to go to the remote islands by car via Okinawa mid-sea road!

From Okinawa mid-sea road, you can go to four remote islands: Hamahiga Island, Heianza Island, Miyagi Island, and Ike Island!
This time, we snorkeled at Ike Island and had lunch at Okinawa mid-sea road🍽.

Ikegae Island has a lot of fish swimming in the shallows, and even children can see them if they can put their faces on the water.
(Unfortunately, my son was too scared to put his face in the water...)

Afterwards, we had lunch at the Uminchu Teahouse in the "Ayahashikan Marine Station",
located halfway along the Okinawa mid-sea road.

The restaurant has an ocean view and every seat is spacious with a relaxing atmosphere.

I recommend it when you stay in Okinawa for a long time and get a little tired of Okinawan food.
